I'm at 1500 miles on my SE Cannons and it is music to my ears now. They got substantially louder than new but not unbearable. I may be off man out but I prefer my slipon only sound of the M8 compared to full system sound of the TC. The M8 had more of a muscle car tone compared to the potato potato sound of the TC.

I too have been trying new slipons, V&H 4.5 Raiders, TBR, and guess what did it for me?
SE Street cannons, they bark when getting on the throttle. No other changes and no decel pop just a nice purrrr when I engine brake or back off after a hard acceleration. I agree with Dixonk, they are music to my ears also.
My Heritage TC 103 has V&H pro pipe 2-1, RC high flow intake and FP3. This would be way loud for serious touring.
I've got my Raiders for sale also, chrome.

Honestly, I think that's because a lot of folks are chasing that twin cam exhaust note. I just do not think the M8 will ever get that because of the engine design. I suspected as much after owning my M8 with rineharts since august. I had been thinking that we could get that sound we were chasing with some headers air and tune. I got a big dose of reality when I saw an M8 with all of that sounding just like mine with only slip ons.
