It's mega bug season her in Arizona too, so my leather vest looked like a lot of the pics. dead bug remnants all over. tried to give it a wipe down with a wet wash cloth at the hotel before we headed out to a rally with little positive result.

So I spot a patch at one of the vendor booths that fits where I want and take it to the guy to have it sewn on. He makes a comment on the amount of bug crud on my leathers in a very heavy Russian accent. I tell him I tried to clean it but didn't help much. He smiles at me with this big toothy grin and says "you want me clean it?" I said sure. He whips out a bottle of Goo Gone and before I could protest has it all over my vest. I about had a **** fit, he said something in russian and then says it works good and wont damage leather. I'm thinking yea right. my vest looks like a big oily mess now. he gets all the bugs off, sews on the patch and I very wearily walk away with my "greasy" vest.

Within 5-10 minutes, the Goo Gone had dried and my vest looked good as new. Cool little tip that I would have never tried

Ah yes! The bugs are out up north.

Down south here in Florida the girls are switching from winter bikinis to the summer g-strings!

We've been enjoying "bug season" in Tennessee for almost a month - and they are getting bad right now. The other thing we have going is green pollen all over everything that sits outside...
