Starting my Bluetooth setup now... Just got the Communications Cable for $30 shipped - thanks, Bunker!
This is going to be a slower rollout than the previous mods. I don't really need headsets right now, but come August when me and the wife are riding to Sturgis, it'll be nice to be able to talk to each other. Or will it? LOL
Coming up next on the communications front - a pair of Sena 20s and a Sena Freewire.

I'll be hitting the 2500 mile mark on the way home from work today... Not only is that awesome, but I'll also be hitting the 10k mile mark overall. I took my previous bike (Buell) from 2000 miles to over 10k miles the past two years, and am now putting the miles on the Street Glide. Should I be logging these miles as a full HOG member?

I installed the RAM mount on my right-hand controls. I like it there, but with the additional mass extending from the bars, it causes a ton of vibration. Oh well, it's not like my eyes are glues to the thing. I just feel it a bit in the hand, especially when my phone is mounted.

FWIW, spend the money ONCE on the right rain gear. Been there, done that. FT work, but they're a pia to get on and off, especially when you're caught in the rain with little warning.
I've got a 17 SGS, and loving your thread. ride on brother.

I wish it would quit raining already! It's been almost a week straight of rain and I haven't ridden anywhere. I need to buy rain gear.

So I've been busy recently... I installed the communications cable, and while I had the inner fairing off, I put my TollTag in there, added a USB hub so I now have my iphone cable going into the phone compartment, a spare cable going back to the passenger seat, and a USB extender cable hidden up in the fairing that I can reach and plug in a flash drive to update the software or whatever.
