TOAK the Thread Of All Knowledge VIII
Howdy Greg, shuffled 11 hours today. When I got home my neighbor calls, says he's having Jeep trouble. Its up in the shop, emergency brake on one wheel self destructed.
Bought it brand new and pancaked the center of the drivers door within a couple of days checking out some chic walking across a parking lot. My mother never let him forget it and he never fixed it.

Thats pretty funny. Dad and I were chatting and looking up pics of AMC cars yesterday and today.
Oh my! My dad had a Rambler 660 or 880 Convertible too. The top always leaked LOL
My first car was a well used '65 LeSabre. Hated it then. Wish I had it back.
Not this one...this is just a stock photo.

Here is my dad's one true AMC love. He bought this right off the showroom floor at the dealership.

I've had two white '59 Rambler station wagons. One was my first car, cost $100, had a 327 V8, and was probably the most dangerous car I ever drove. Second was when a buddy got a new job, had to move and didn't want to take the old Rambler with him. Begged me to take it for $200. 6 cyl, 3 on the tree, with really cold air conditioning; was cooler and got better mileage than a Toyota Corolla I drove to work, so I drove the Rambler for a couple years. That was one slow car...
