Took her home yesterday, decided to observe the break in rules. Boy did I want to twist that throttle! Now that I'm past 50 miles at least I can get the RPM's up to 3500.

I'll probably start a new thread about reaching the jiffy stand, I have to fold up the floor board and grab the stand by the **** of the rubber bumper to lift it. The sales guy thew in the touring extension after seeing me struggle. I dry mounted the extension with tape before drilling the required hole, the extension doesn't do anything for me. I'll figure something out that looks good.

I get ya, I agree your choice of color is superior because you didn't have to drop an extra 2.5K and that could buy lots of shinny parts!!

Congrats on the new ride! Very cool color. Looking at your original pics and the ones today, it is very evident on how much the seat mod helped you get flat footed on the ground. Good luck with it.

Congrats man, that hot rod red really screams in the sun. How tall are you and what's your inseam? I'm 5'4, 28" inseam, I've found that by grabbing the "arm" of the jiffy stand I'm able to raise it without difficulty

I wish I was as tall as you. Try 5'2" w/ 27 inseam. I'm kinda doing that, I think. My boot grabs the shank or arm but it's still a bit of stretch. If I don't raise the floorboard I cannot reach even that. On a good note, I had the narrow seat mod done by Mean city,
added the Tamarak 1" lowering kit and I'm flat footed with my legs straight down.
I'm having some boots "adjusted " to get me another 1". Then I'll be able to get my feet down and out wider to form a stable base. Boots are a week out so we will see.

Took her for another ride today and got on it a bit, man this new 107 is quick. I had a 2106 FLSS so I know what power is. This 107 bone stock has got it.
