I'm swapping the RK lightbar with a Street Glide light bar. Inside the light bar will be Custom Dynamics LED inserts. I was going to go with Custom Dynamics Fillerz but I'm thinking now that they would behind the turn signals on the light bar and it may look foolish. Thoughts?

Does anyone have a SG style light bar with CD Fillerz behind it? I'd love to see some pics and hear your thoughts.

Final brainstorm - On the RK I need the triple play module for run/brake/turn - If I go the route of light bar + CD fillerz, should I do the fillerz in run/brake/turn or just run/brake - Again I'm worried it may look stupid blinking behind blinking.

Should I scrap the whole Fillerz idea and go with CD Bagz on the top lip of the hard saddle bags? I'd then fill the slots in the back with the chrome "fillerz".

So the crazy blinking only happens when you apply the brakes, the more attention you can grab, the better.

Watching the tread for ideas.

 

Take a look at the Kuryakyn Wedge or Spear lights. They mount on your saddlebags. Pretty sweet. Plug and play. They are run/brake only, buy I understand they can be wired to blink also. I bought a set of these so they would be beside my street glide style blinkers, not behind them. Have not installed them yet, so no pics. Do a google search to see photos.

 

I am assuming you have the hard bags, that is.

 

I kept the lollipop turn signal bar because I wanted larger/ more visible lights. I haven't finish the plasma rods, probably do that tomorrow after church. I have the triple play, all lights strobe 4 times/solid and repeat after 5 seconds and so will the rods when hooked to the system.
Do the rods look stupid behind the lollipops? Honestly don't think so, but don't care if they do. I want to be seen, I want to catch the attention of ppl behind me while driving. If all my lights accomplish that then I am good and happy
Plasma rods may be the ticket if you are replacing the bar with the SG shorty.

 

Yes I have the hard bags... I'm hoping to settle on Fillerz after some folks post some pics or Bagz... thank you for the quick response

You could also grab some of that reflective tape that is black and reflects red when hit with light and put it on the saddlebag supports on the inside between fender and bag....

 

+1 on the plasma Rods

You could do the Trueflex and get a shorter length to run on the bottom of you bag. I have seen some people to that. Here is a set I had...I sold them only because I wanted the Turn, Run Stop of the plasma rods. I'll have only these and a LED 55 Chevy light. The amount of light the combo puts out is amazing even in the day light.

I finally have my bike in-hand, here is the final setup.

My concern about the fillerz being behind the round turn signals has been confirmed. I've dedicated to make the fillerz just run/brake so there isn't so much blinking and confusion to the person viewing behind me.

What you see in the rear is a SG light bar, custom dynamics LED inserts, chrome/smoked fillerz, custom dynamics LED taillight, I use the triple play module to control the blink/strobe patterns.
