after 20 or so helmets, the smallest I think is the Daytona. I also like the biltwell bonanza. the bells are huge!

+1 on the HJC. I have a hard time with full helmets. The HJC is a very good helmet (I think they make the HD helmets) at a reasonable price.

Daytona here. My only problem with it is that it sits too low and I can't wear goggles with it. I need the fit over glasses goggles and they are bigger than normal though.

You got your round heads and your oval heads. The best low-profile 3/4 helmet is the one that is made for the shape of your melon. What's great for one guy may be entirely wrong for your head shape. There is no substitute for trying something on before you buy. For my melon, it's Shoei RJ platinum. Yes, it's pricy but I find it comfortable and I think it offers good protection.

Just got home from buying a helmet, picked up the Bell Pit Boss. Not a 3/4 but a nice fitting unit. Far as helmet sizes on 3/4's I saw today the slimmest looking it was a toss up between Bell and Biltwell

Think you'll be happy with that lid, I sure like mine.

The zip-off neck curtain is good for the cooler mornings and the adjustment **** at the back lets you fine tune the fit.

Been following this thread,as I'd like to find a low profile DOT helmet. Was going to order a Daytona online. Found a local shop that carries Daytona helmets and tried one on. Normally I wear an XL,but in the Daytona I needed a 2XL. Although it fit low,I still looked like I had a basketball on my head. Major disappointment. I have an RG9 from the 70's that I know I should not use,but nothing fits like it. I was going to order a Licks NovDot but I think the fit will be like the Daytona. Thoughts?

I have 3 , a Bell a Licks - and a Bitwell DOT. The lowest would be the licks very comfy as well. The bell is a very well made lid but magoo look for sure. The bitwell is ok but not my first choice. I'm hooked on FF now lol.
