Default Blacked-out Road Kings, except for the motor and exhaust?

Have not seen a lot of blacked out RKs that have some chrome on just the motor and exhaust. Been thinking about blacking out my forks, handlebars, engine guard and saddlebag guards, nacelle. Also the rear chrome fender brackets. And, leaving the chrome on the motor and exhaust.

What you guys think? Anyone seen pics of similar bikes?

Cool

All personal taste. I'm not a fan of blacked out touring bikes. Fat Boys look OK blacked out IMO.

Depends on the color of your bike, and your taste....
Some of that you can do on the Harley site, do a screen dump into paint/photo shop (or another software) and change the rest.
See what you think....
Some colors look great while others not so much (to me anyway).
Took me about 4 minutes to go wild with the blackout options on HD site...

Default part blacked out

My bike is a Cop bike and the nacelle was black already I used gloss black vinyl on the cowbells and installed while on the bike It has been on the bike 4 years now
I half *** did the lowers and was not fond of the look I scored for free some chrome lower legs and am undecided on them as well.

Nice bike! Are you going to blackout the covers on the right side too?
Is that Corbin seat comfortable?

Thumbs up

I happen to like chrome, but then that is because that was all we had available to us way back, long before black exhausts, or even stainless ones, were invented! So IMHO go with whatever takes your fancy.
