My tip is don't ride if it's snowing or there's any kind of ice on the road. Riding when there's ice/snow on the road is the stupidest thing someone can do on a motorcycle.

#7 Studded tires... for a Harley? Seriously this article has to be a joke. You can stud knobby tires for dirt bikes and dual sports but find me a set of knobby tires weight rated for my road glide, or even my Dyna for that matter.

Semper Fi SWthomas! Snow and ice are a no go. Call me a fair weather rider if you will, that is just nuts!

Studded tires on a harley is a joke... Unless racing on ice. If you want to ride in snow get a 3 wheeler. Even the yamaha at 280lbs is too much hassle sliding in the snow. I took my kx125 out years ago in a foot of snow and almost broke my ankle trying to stay upright.

Also riding in the cold is one thing, riding when snow is falling is completely different.

Not to mention, if you are able to keep the bike upright, you are likely bathing your bike in salt. Not good.

So I drive a non baffled liquid tanker. At times we do not fill completely.

Id opt for leaving the bike in the garage with snow or ice covered roads.

Default Do you even read this ****

Before you post it ? This isn't bunch of high school kids on these forums. This is a pretty smart bunch overall. I find it insulting to my own and everyone else's intelligence. Jesus Christ, enough already. WTF.
