Hate to say it, but welcome to the rest of the world where everyone else has been doing that since forever. Like Greg said, it will take some getting used to, it's just a new routine.. Bummer

I had to do that stuff at irregular intervals when Gloria traveled. Danielle went to day care and school in some fashionably questionable outfits. And then the demand of braiding hair, which I had never done, at 5:30 in the morning. Oooof.

 

so if i grow my hair long again, you could braid it for me Greg?

 

I don't think so, Dan. I quit drinking a long time ago.

 

hahahaaa....some lines just have to wait their time, Greg.

 

We will adjust. Hell, maybe we will act like a normal family where we all get up and get ready first thing in the morning!

 

I understand others go to the office 5 days a week and that is the norm, but when she took this job 15 years ago it was offered a s work from home position with no office on the local campus. So this is a bit of a change for her. She has no one else that she works with that is within 30 miles of the campus (Requirement for relocating back to the office) so it is not even a collabortaion effort...it's just a way they try to get people to quit rather than give up their WFH designation. Honestly, it will cost them more since they will now have to pay the campus an office lease, network and phone connections and electricity.

 

then she needs to walk in with a smile every day, like it doesn't bother her, just a walk in the park. maybe at some point they will think they made a mistake and let er go back home.. i know it sucks, but you'll find it within yourselves to do what needs to be done until things change.
