Test rode my new seat setup, sits a little higher then I thought it would be. (still need to paint the pan)

I also have a spring seat setup that I am going to try out next to see which one I like the best.

 

Replaced my Pingel with a Golan.

 

Rigged something up to attach my seat to new fender. Got a 7/16 button head hex bolt, cut it to length, drilled and tapped to 1/4-20 for the seat bolt and then faced the nut and head of bolt off as thin as possible. Will only protrude about 1/8" into fender. Going to sand blast head and paint same color as fender.

 

Well, after writing yesterday how I've been ignoring my Heritage...

Today I had an appointment down in Tupelo. Rode the Softail down there via interstate and then took a lot of country roads back to the shop.

As of August 13th - bought it.
As of August 14th - rode it home from TN to MD (475 miles).

2015 FLSTF with 871 miles on her at the time of purchase.

 

yeah, the 200 is enough
