Default Matazu bag extensions - fitment

I got my bag extensions today, and they don't seem to fit. If I muscle them in to place I can get them to somewhat work.

Just wondering if they are all like this or if I got a bad set. I had these on my old ride and they fit perfectly.

I did order the correct ones, for 14 up. Maybe they shipped me the ones for the old style bags.

Hmmm, very curious, they say the CVO style tapered extensions may not fit the stock bags.

For anyone who is interested here is the it reply. - looks like they are fast at replying, and have very good customer service. I am debating wether to get a refund or have them replace them with the non tapered extensions. - I personally like the CVO style better.

"Thank you for your prompt images. We currently have a pull request with our shipping department to help compare the differences between the new and old fit. We do see that the design advertised in our listing has an additional curve towards the base of the extension which would impact the use with most oem Harley bags. We will place a request with our shipping person to help assist you with a return label. Please let us know if you'd like to try our non tapered design in exchange for our tapered fit."

I think I decided to forego the extensions. I asked if I could exchange them for a chopped Tourpak lower, assuming that my king pack lid will bolt up to it. I don't need a full king pack since my wife rides her own, and I feel that the chopped version looks better on a road glide. We will see what they say I guess.
