For that price, I would not consider it.....
You should be able to get "ride-able" Shovels when you're in the 5k range. I picked mine up last year for 5,500, she leaked oil like a *****, but was in decent shape.
I spent about 2x winters shopping for a Shovel...fall/winter good time to shop up north here. Spring/summer bad time...prices higher. Finally sold my prior FXDB and picked up the FLHS in my sig for 55 hundge.
So I saw the 5k range for scruffy bikes, 6-7k range for bikes in good shape, and even 8 and 9k for REALLY nice ones. I'm talking "selling" prices....not just bikes sitting there for sale for months or more with no takers.
