Default Best carb for shovelhead?

I have a 1200cc shovel with an s & s B carb. Carb needs rebuilt and I am thinking about just buying a better carb, looking for recommendations. I have drag pipes on my shovel.

the super E is way better that the old B - starting, idle and leaving a light

CV works well - but if you are looking to keep the same look than the E is your choice

changing your drag pipes could yield a lot nicer result than changing your carb, unless you ride at 6000 rpm everywhere drag pipes are not the best compromise

My preference is by far the SU. But not many will support me on that.

There is a big difference between what was ran back then and the ones that are made and sold by Rivera Engineering today.

My brother has been running his for about 10 years... needs some lubrication every once in a while, but make his bike scream! (and push hard)
