do you shut the pet **** off when done riding?. could be the carb leaks into the cylinders and it will run past the rings into the oil in the bottom of the motor. Or is it running very rich? if so extra fuel can wash past the rings into the motor.

Why did it Die? did it flood out due to a carb dumping gas? The only way for gas to get in the oil is from leaking past the rings. the only way for that to happen is if to much is getting in or rings are seized to the pistons and had no compression (but the engine would probably not start.)
