Default Another coil bites the dust!!!

Well this is my forth coil in 6 months, same thing every time.I left my points behind for a Dyna S ingnition and the fun began.the first three where one after another so a local shop parts guy suggested that I go to a 2 ohm coil and low and behold she ran great until the other day when she went dead on the highway.trailered her up and got home .checked and power to coil and no spark out.72 FLH all stock,,,HELP...lol.

dyna S ignition uses the same ohm resistance as a set of points 5 ohm

harley electronic ignition is 3 ohms - and does not work with a dyna

use the ohm meter to check the coil betwen the two terminals it should read 4.7 to 5.2 it depends on the coils temp what it reads --

i have no idea why someone would tell you to put a 2 ohm on it your lucky you have not burned out the dyna S yet -- jz
