bendix carb fouling plugs

bendix carb fouling plugs
Greetings:
I have a 66 1200cc 74cu shovel, rebuilt with 120 miles on it.
I installed:
New STD heads
New Mallory unilite ignition
New spark plug wires
New ignition switch
New bendix carb with the adjustable jets
I use NGK BPR5ES spark plugs.
Here is my problem:
It keeps gas fouling spark plugs, and it makes it very difficult to start, it’s a kick only bike. But once it is running, it runs good.
It will start with one kick with new plugs in it, but after a few miles the plugs are black
It runs good; it’s just hard to start
Here is what I tried:
Adjusted the idle and main jets as lean as I can get & still run
I used hotter plugs NGK BPR4ES
There is no air leaks
Timing is good, does not kick back
But the plugs are still black & it takes about 30 or more kicks to start it.
By the way I have a 79 XL & 75 FX both kick start only and uses bendix carbs &
They both are one-kick bikes & run well.
Any help would be approached
God Bless you all

a hotter plug only burns out-- thats an old wives tale "put in a hotter plug" #1 check the float level -- then get a set of AUTOLITE XS-65 is it points or electronic iggy? points gap them at 30 elect 40 -- also check the needle and seat to make sure its actually sealing -- me? get an S&S super E ---
heres an idea -- take the carb off of the other bike that works good-- test it on this on.. done that many times with cars -- hmmm i suspect the m.a.p. sensor is bad -- take the one off that car it runs good -- yup bad sensor
understand?

well start from the begining you bought a new carb ( unknown item ) and its a thing to kick start and you have other shovels with the same carbs that are not an issue at all and start very good
1 -- the first thing i would do to confirm the New carb is the issue or NOT -- take the plugs and that bikes carb off one of the other bikes and see what happens when you swap them out do NOT change anything but the plugs and the other carb,
2 - Than drive it for a couple of days see if the problem is gone and the bike performs as you expect < it is a new motor build i think you said and things have a way of being different
3 - if all is well after that check the float level against the carb that works and re install and or put the new carb on your known bike and see if it works like the other /ether way you can confirm if the carb, or something else is the issue as you have working and non working bikes with he same parts on hand
