I am installing my tranny, and I have noticed a hose connection sticking out from the inner primary. It is opposite from the internals of the solenoid. Sticking out towards the transmission side. My bad I don't remember a hose when I took out the tranny, and I don't understand why there would be one because the primary is sealed.... Anyone know if a hose goes there?
the picture is upside down I don't know why....

 

I'm thinking it is a vent for the primary because even though it is "sealed" it still needs a vent.

 

Believe somebody added that isn't stock far as I know .

 

Seems odd to me they didn't use the chain oiler fitting for a vent.
