Yep, another clutch question

The long bearing are ok IF #1 you run a wet primary and #2 if they fit properly . Sometimes those can be a little tight and will cause more problems than they fix , I've had to hone out the clutch shell to free them up on a couple bikes and they are a total headache if you have a belt primary . You have to pull things apart a few times a year to grease them .
Best bang for the dollar is a Ram Jett retainer kinda like the Tamer , you don't have to remove the hub nut to install anything with it and they are like $20 tops . These are real handy if you run a belt because no big tools needed to remove the clutch basket if it breaks .
The second is get rid of the old steel pressure plate and go the aluminium one . Adjust the springs till you 4 or 5 threads showing on the studs , make sure the plate goes in & out evenly all way round and you'll have a trouble free clutch if the steels aren't warped & your plates are clean .
