Considering buying a shovel with a mystery frame
So a good friend bought this bike in boxes years ago and has kinda lost interest so I'm thinking of taking it over.
It has an aftermarket frame with a mild rake and stretch but the only marking on the frame is "made in Canada"
Any ideas what it is?

Pic 3 in your gallery shows what appears to be a VIN # on the right engine case below the front lifter block. A decode of that will give you the year and model the bike started life as.
My thought from the general appearance is that it is probably an FX model.
Doesn't appear there is any numbers on the frame. Depending on what you have as far as paperwork and where you live it could be a problem registering the bike.
Looks like it won't take much to get it up and running.
