Hi Guys: Has anyone out there heard of Kleiv Motorcycle Products, or does anyone have any experience with their stuff?
They advertise American made items for older bikes, and I found them while looking for mufflers for my '84 shovel. Right now I'm running Sampson bell tips, but they're a little too quiet and seem like they don't get the exhaust out quick enough - a liitle sluggish at the bottom end.
The folks at Kleiv haven't answered my email inquiry, and the phone voice mail is full. J&P carries them (new product) but they didn't know squat.

Any insight would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Kurt Kleiv used to work at Samson and went off to make his own exhaust systems for older bikes. He was a very good employee and friend to the Samson family. We do hear from him occasionally but do not know the status of the company he started. We have been out of touch for a while. We do wish him the best of luck in his quest to make pipes for the older bikes. He is a stand up guy as well.

Thanks for the reply - much appreciated. I though I had read somewhere that he had worked for Sampson.

BTW, I like your bell tips and they look good on my bike - just a little too quiet
