The problem could be the seal you see in my album 'primary chain-- picture 16. The primary is still vented thru the clutch push rod hole and back thru vent on top of transmission. With a primary belt I would have thought at least the drain plug would be removed. Oil get get in there from two places and what happens if it gets a lot of oil in there? Just my opinion since I had not delt with this type of conversion.

Nice thread , a little over the top on machining a new bushing but if you have the tools it's great .
A stock replacement bushing and the double seal trick will get you there no problem . maybe 1 in 20 people will have a clue about machining the spacer for an o-ring if your lucky .
