82 fxr clutch makes a scraping noise

my wifes gandfather past 3 months ago so she went to take care of things. she found a buick and a bike in the garage so she had me come pick them up. the buick runs great. the bike is a 82 fxr it runs but when u pull in the clutch it makes a light scraping sound. anyone have an idea what it could be?

Pull the primary cover and go from there. besides you have one of the best HD's ever produced - the FXR - in my opinion - was one of the best bikes ever built by HD from Shovel through Evo. Get a manual if you are not sure of what goes where. but definately start with the outer primary cover, remove it and take a look. Not much information to start with, but write back and give more details.

I'm going with him here need a bit more info , how long does it look like it was sitting ? General condition ? Had an 82 FXR kinda sorry I ever sold it they are a very nice ride cleaned up and be-bugged .
