I have an 82 Wide Glide with a stock Keihin carb,,seems to spit & sputter when I accelerate,just as i give it throttle,,runs fine when opened up,,I replaced Plugs and wires,cleaned out carb ,and replaced accelerator pump,still craps when I first throttle it.Any ideas?

 

They had taken the check ***** out of the accel. pump body on those carbs on later shovels so you never got a good shot of gas when hitting it . 2 things port may be blocked a little from crude in the float bowl and They have Hi Flo accel. pump kit works wonders for that problem , easy R&R .
