And the frame is...
hey guys-
i called paughco this morning and they were really helpful. the guy confirmed that the frame is indeed an '86 model 131 paughco frame. he gave me all the build details: 30 degreed rake, set up for a 4 speed with a left drive chain and fat bob tank tabs. they were even able to tell me who they originally sold the frame to. very friendly andhelpful guys over there.
thanks to all of you guys for the feedback. i'm gonna go ahead and buy it and start freaking it out. i'll start a new thread over in the project forum.

I have a very similar setup.. 75 shovel hardtail pauco frame delcron cases . If the title#s match frame u should be ok, but would suggest u also have mso for cases. It is definetely a special build , and is probably (definetely not titled correctly) Depending what state u live in u can probably get away with it. BUT !! be aware that just because u have a title from ur state ,, if you are at a rally or somewhere the law is breaking ***** they can take that bike from u and it will probably never return! Because that is not a Harley# and title says Harley. Harley had their own # and letter stamps, and if u come by a somewhat knowlegable cop he can make a case against u.. Just be careful, and have fun with it! here is a pic of mine.
