Do a search on ebay for Harley Shovelhead CV flange. You should get a few hits, price varies from about 34 to 39 dollars, usually with free shipping. It has to be pressed on, usually with a coating of jb weld. You could also use a rubber adapter for a mikuni or similar spigot carb. You use your stock manifold and the cv with the flange or adapter bolts up to it.

I used a spigot mount manifold from a Dellorto 40mm pumper from Rivera Engineering.Sometimes you can find them at motorcycle swapmeets. I think Rivera is out of business now.I saw one for a panhead on ebay,so maybe one for a shovel will show up.

Has any of you ever used the flange on a carb? Any problems with it coming loose from vibration? And, finally, these late model carbs work OK on the Shovelhead? Mine is a 1972 Electra Glide. Thanks.

CV's work great on a Shovel. I have one on my 72 FLH. I had a rubber adapter on it before my accident. I'm going to order the press on when I put it back on the road. The flange is a press fit and you use JB weld in insure it won't come off.

Thanks FilthyLucre. I'm going to go for it since I have a new one a friend took off his Road King. Cheaper to buy the flange instead of another Bendix. Appreciate the feedback. Be cool.
