Not saying it can't be something else, but my coil died just a few days ago and acted just like yours. I was close and got it in but the next day when I checked it, it ohm'd just fine too, both sides, but it was shot...

Glad to hear you got up and running tx80

Clove, did you simply replace the ignition alltogether when it quit on you, or did the 2ki quit and replaced under warranty?

i replaced the 2ki under warranty 3 times they kept going out and couldnt find the problem. Think the the veos wire been grounded but not sure. They would run for a week or a month or a couple months then go out. I just put the compu fire on it havent even tested it out yet. But dyna was pretty good about refunds but not worth the hassle.

That's interesting ... but sure aggrevating for you. I don't blame you for changing brands after all that!

I know they say do not ground the VOES lead from the module if running in the "retard" mode but otherwise it's ok to do it so you can use the VOES curve all the time, which is supposed to closely imitate a flyweight advance curve.

I've used some Compufire electric components (but not a module yet) and they seem to be first-class. Hope your new stuff holds up for you.
