h-d motor company tell me that my 4-speed 1984 fxwg (vin#...064449) was assembled on april 3rd 1984 at york plant, and shipped to suffolk county harley-davidson, long island, new york. it has factory belt final drive, wet clutch, single 11 1/2 " front disc (all as per evo), and i'm told it has an evo bottom end/crank (although someone could tell me more about that as i'm not so knowledgeable about that particular aspect). just thought i'd add my 2c worth, cheers, al.

My 84 FLHS came from Bob Fletchers in Clearwater, Florida. 066968. I also know of 1more FLHS's bought in Ohio near Akron. We are 3 numbers apart. Same original color [ wine] although mine been changed through the years his is mostly stock.
Both had pegs, no bags or windshield, spoked rims, rear belt.

Additional 1985 FLHP's from Louisiana
Stumbled across this post. My 85 FLHP came out of Jefferson Parrish Sherriff's office. Numbered 011139 so looks early in 1985 production. Still have the JPSO Propery Number tag on it.... This bike had a run-in with a left turning Caddy in 2001. When I disassembled it I found a string of Mardi Gras beads under the tranny - keep those right alongside that original title!
There is another 85 FLHP from the same auction still roaming around about 80 miles South of me, too.
