I need to chase the threads on a steering nut on a 1971 fx. The threads are 7/8x24.
The books says that this thread was used from 1954-1985 on XL and 1971-1984 on FX, FXE.
I will pay postage both ways plus your time to send you the nut have the threads chased and returned.

Could the thread size be 7/8x24 ns? I dont know of a nft thread.

Have any photos of the nut?
