Doesn't the 84 already have lights in the bags? ... If it does and you change them out, I would interested in your old lights. I assume you mean flush mounting the lights?

Hey Springer,

no they come right off the rear fender on the light bar. I'm going to have to cut the

bags to place the lights. I once saw these cups at a swapmeet but did not have the good sense

to get them and now that I need them I can't find them. No I'm going to recess the lights (french)

them in.

Tom

Before you do anything, let me get a picture of mine. I have lights in the bags. They specifically come off a 84 FLH "classic" and I believe it was the only year they were available. You can find them from time to time. The last set I found was on eBay with the set of bags. I bought the bags for $160 with the lights and then sold the bags without the lights for $150.

I'll get some close ups tonight and post them.

Well it looks like I'm ok, my brother is a tin nocker and says he can make the buckets for the lights for me. I'll have them by next week.
Now I just have to find someone who does fiberglass to make the buckets out of fiberglass using my set as a kind of mold. I think making
them out of fiberglass will be stronger, easier to mount and blend in better. I wish I knew how to post pics on the sight so I could
show you my progress so far, I'll figure it out . As soon as I do I'll send some pics.
