Engine went on my 83 shovel FLHT (90,000 miles) and asking inputs on
if I should send it off for a MOCO to remanufactor. Everything right now matches on bike and is original as far as numbers running the bike through harley's records

Any MOCO that folks recommend ?

I am in Pensacola Florida

 

I thought HD only remanufactured the EVO motors I'd go for an S&S shovel motor

 

thanks I have been looking at J&P's S&S shovelhead 93 in

 

called harley today oldest they go is 84 EVO motor. well I guess she get broken down by me

Try Hi-Tech Cycles in Holliday, FL. Holliday is about 45 minutes north of Tampa. Ross rebuilt my shovel 6 years ago and it still runs great. No gasket leaks yet! Now, If I could only get my tranny to stay sealed I'd have the only non-leaking Chopper on the planet.
