I'm looking to switch from Dunlop 401's to something else on my 79 Lowrider. Anyone have any experience with Avons or another brand that can supply a 90/90-19 front?

 

Avon and Metzler work great. I have not liked the new Dunlap elite 3 front the best 19" front I have ever used was a metzler ME-33

 

I am running a Metzler on the front and an Avon Venom on the rear. Tried a bunch of combinations but this one works best for me.

 

I use Avon Venom X tires (or tyres if you spell it their way). AM41 in front and AM42 on the rear. I don't carve corners as some guys do. They are more than adequate for me and I dig the tread pattern.
