Just take it back and tell him what you need. If he is reputable he will make it right. You might be charged a restocking fee if he is an *** but if he values his reputation he will do the right thing. Some dealers have a no refund policy on electrical items but in your case he gave you the wrong part and you are asking for an exchange. If that fails buy the right one from someone else and sell the wrong one on ebay to recover some of your money

 

At this point in the game I would purchase a 32 amp system complete The plug from the stator comes through the case and sticks out approx 3/4 in Much better system and you will know what the f##ks going on
