i cant seem to get any adjustment with the mixture screw i have had a thunder slide kit put in the carbie so with a&nbsp\\;185 main and a 48 slow speed the bike seems to run best but to fine tune the carbie with the mixture screw it has no effect on the idle when you screw it all the way in or all the way out.i have a slight bit of a cough out of the carbie&nbsp\\;when you first start the bike . there is no leaking around manifold rubbers i went down to a 42slow speed ,45slow speed&nbsp\\;up to a 48 with no adjustment what so ever on the mixture screw. does anybody have a answer as to why

 

Make sure your idle is down to were it should be (800-1000 rpm), if too fast your past idle circut and on the mid range circut

 

thanks for reply idle is good plus i dont like idle to high as when bike is hot if idle is to high it makes idle to long to drop when you are sitting at a set of lights. i took mixture screw out to make sure the tip was not broken of but it seems fine
