Default New Gas Tank

I received a new gas tank with my bike when I bought it. The bike is bare metal (may have Galvanizing or something on to prevent rust) with no paint or primer. I am in the process of getting the tank and fenders repainted, should I be sealing the inside of the tank before I get it painted??

[>:] New gas tanks should always be sealed before paint. Nothing worse than it leaking on your brand new paint job because you decided not to seal it. I've had very good results w/ this product: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Tank-Sealers_c_7-1-0.html
