Good luck and I can appreciate what you are going through. My '75 FXE had a lot of small issues I had to get through. Just as I thought it was good to go I had a no start issue. I was lucky in that the first thing I checked was the starter relay on the rear fender. I tapped it while holding the start button and boom it started. Replaced it and so far great.
My previous bike was a Victory Cross Country. Loved that bike but it was heavy. These Super Glides actually ride pretty good and are pretty nimble in handling in my opinion.
