Performance machine rear calipers

makes sense! I should’ve beefed it up more on the brake stay side. At this point I just want to get this b**** on the road. I guess if I start having problems I’ll just make a better one 😂 or I could weld a support bracket that runs from side to side behind the caliper 🤔🤔🤔

Can’t get front caliper to fit springer.
Hey guys I’m on to the front of the bike now. I bought a dual hub spoked wheel for my springer thinking I could swap it with my other front end. (Dual disk) Anyway, I can’t get the caliper to fit in the springer unless I grind down the lip on the hub about 3/16 of an inch. Do you guys see any issues with doing so? How necessary is the washer and snap/retainer ring? I will still have plenty of meat around the seal. Can I do with out it? Also, do I need to use the tapered type spacer with the Tapered bearings? Or can I use the flat axle type up against the bearing? No biggy just wondering on this one. Thanks for the help

Don't modify the wheel that lip holds the rotors true, springers take a special caliper mounting setup to fit right and you'll kill any chance of resale if you have find another to get it all to fit.
Far as spacers go bearing doesn't care what it looks like as long as it the correct width.
