shovelhead frame identification help
#21
I’ve owned a Duo-Glide since 1977 and I am well aware the 58–64 frames have a tab on both sides for the back of the footboards but the frame concerned is not 58–64.
The OP asked for help with info about his frame and that is the frame I addressed. The OP was told his frame was missing a tab for the footboard but I disagreed. And I did so without reprimanding anyone. If nobody disagreed about the alleged missing tab then where would that leave the OP? He would be left thinking that the tab was indeed missing. But it isn’t missing because it was not required in the first place, given that the frame looks like a mid/later-75 to 76 model as I mentioned in my first post.

So are we going to move on over and actually help the man or is it gonna keep getting harped on like a nagging wife like to play when you put down in the wrong place by accident for the foreseeable future...
