15 lbs should do it - THE STUD STRETCHES be care full thinking its not tight enough

Tighten in a criss-cross pattern 4 sections total, 2 on each cover. Re-tighten after a few miles, make sure surface is flat before you start anything.

the picture of the bike its an FLH with 5 gallon gas tanks - you cant get to almost all the nuts to re tighten unless you remove both fuel tanks
is that what your suggesting or only tightening just 2 or the nuts
