Default Reed breather valve fix to try

I'm gona rty this fix to the S&S reed valve breather - cut a 3/32" slot for silicone O-ring in the breather end to seal the vacuum - this lies above the bottom cavity air feed hole/tube - so I should get the vacuum to the seperator cavity - plus I'm going to run a reed valve on the crank breather vent to maintain the vacuum - got nothing to lose trying this - my analysis of air flow indicates this should improve the "SUCK" - or maybe it will just suck and puke oil anyway - no primary return - that's plugged - so just the cavity trap to evacuate - not sure why S&S did not cut this groove and seal the stinkin vent anyway - pics show the valve pushed 1/2 down - seats nice - seems like a better setup to me - but I'm no S&S engineer

i use an automotive PCV valve on some and it also seems to work

the O ring insures you dont get a back flow into the exit - good thought
