Default Belt removal

I'm still in the process of dismantling my shovel and hit a wall. I cant figure out how to remove the clutch shell, there was a bdl belt drive installed, any tips appreciated.

Follow up question, can I run an open primary with this belt? Or do I need a specific kit?
