Default Stock foot controls for 1973 super glide

I found a nice 1973 super glide for sale but it has extended foot controls, not going to work for me. I looked around on the net for standard foot controls but just could not narrow the search to get a good answer.
What do I need to make the conversion back to original location or even reduced reach?

I Know nothing of reduced or extended reach controls on a Shovel
There are typical [FXWG Type] forwards, there are Foot Boards, and there are standard SuperGlide Mids... in My world anyway

couls explain but Look at internet Pictures of Shovelhead FXWG, FLH, and FX[E] and tell which you have vs which you want!!

Not a Super Glide expert, they are here, but I believe that bike would have come stock with mid controls. If I am correct, that is what you need to look for on the Web. Get yourself a Factory Parts Book and search on the Bay with part #'s, works well for me. You are way better off with old rusty factory parts then new shiny Taiwan parts.Do some research on your bike, good luck.

if and if is the word it actually is a super glide - it is thousands $$$ away from the real bike it was like the blue pans posted

having said that its a typical if you have extra money and the time - and looking for a different look then this is what you end up with

lots of it is import and the brakes are better then stock - I agree the forwards look stupid being that far ahead using FL not FX front controls might be what you looking for

maybe one of the guys will post FL controls with Pegs and not the floor board

Those are shoved way forward almost like somebody made them. My 77 has foward controls not even close to yours. I have seen guys make them that far out.

No Way!!!! There is Nothing SuperGlide about that!!!

^^^^ This is what a Used, close to original SuperGlide [FX] Looks Like in 1973

Note that It retains the Kayaba Fork even!!! With Banana Caliper in front!!!

I am not looking for an original, I should have stated that to begin with. Thanks for the pic.
Anyway I looked at the bike today and it is beautiful and that is a subjective thing. SS carb, Cold start up with 1st crank, good oil pressure, no smoke. Inside of tank was clean metal. PM brakes pads and rotors were new. Springer front end was spotless. I thought that the bike was impressive
