Default Coil

I have Dyna s dual fire ignition.I bought a ohm meter and checked the 5 ohm coil got a reading of 4.8 is she gone

I would consider that In Tolerance... especially if ya got that meter at Harbor Freight or some such..
Anyway, you should be fine at 4.8 ohms.
BTW; It will function with coils much lower or a bit higher Ohms... just note that the Dyna-S is prone to Overheating and Failure with low ohm coils... we have run under 3 Ohms on the dragbike... but, it aint running on even a Short Trip!!
Just In case.... Keep an eye on the mechanical advance unit... the new Chiwanese ones are absolutely Crap..

Default Coil

Just checked reading from spark plug wire to coil got nothing.Is that a problem

Coil good... Wire bad.. graphite fiberglass hi suppression wires are best for our Harley's. 8.8 mm (12,000 ohm per foot). Do not use Stainless steel strand wires..

Coils ok for the dyna S, goes under 4 ohm not so much. Plug wires would be a definite problem, I'd change them just because.
