'76 FXE: Clutch cable keeps getting loose

Conclusion: Took off the kick start cover and immediately saw a damaged throw out bearing with a few tiny little roller bearings drifting around at the bottom of the cavity as well as the broken halves of one of the washers. Definitely glad I didn't keep monkeying around with the clutch cable. Replacement parts should be here today. Will post some feedback once everything is installed and a test ride has been attempted.
