Default Uneven rear brake pads

Hey fellas, I was just wondering why my brake pads would wear this way and if anyone has a fix for it....pics below

From the picture I am not able to tell what type of caliper that pad came out of.
If you have a floating caliper the bushings for its mounts are probably badly worn.
If you have a rigidly mounted caliper then the mount for it is badly misaligned (bent?) in relation to the brake rotor.

Me think it is the latter...misaligned caliper and/or wheel/rotor. Does the 83 even have a floating caliper? My twinkie had a floating caliper.
