Ultima heads???
Been looking into some minor head work, maybe, porting, polishing etc. and I'm seeing that for the money I could get a set of Ultima heads. These already flow much better than my stock 69 heads. Just wanting a better breathing beast without too much fuss. Sooooo what's everyone's opinion on Ultima or even S&S aftermarket heads????? Don't beat me up too bad now, my 69 garage sale rigid is a conglomeration of parts already. Plus I'm in Alaska and would need to send them outside anyhow. Thanks in advance.

in the shop we sell ultima stuff and the heads are better then the Taiwan stuff v twin sells they are key noted for the 96 inch shovel motor they box sell as a complete ready to install
question - what do you have in the engine you now have to support a set of good flowing heads - if its n0thing - maybe a cam and 8 to 1 pistons the bike wont tune correctly -

Makes sense, I thought boss 302 when I saw the valve size vs displacement. In the case of the shovelhead, high rpm heads on a low rev tractor engine!

So in this imaginary world with that unavailable cam it will beat the twinkie......until it spits a rod trying to hang with a 103 six speed.

Just because it has 103" doesn't mean it can get out of it's own way.....My little 80" Evo was eating up the CVO's..............
