Default 1975 funky frame

Hello,

This frame has good paper and the down tube sticker and neck match.

It looks like somebody flipped the swingarm on the bike at one time. Also there are two blocks that seen to be missing as well. Are they the passenger peg mounts by chance??

Flipping the swingarm will lower the bike dramatically from what I gather, I mean the geometry would be such that it would be pointing down, right?? I'm guessing unless fixed then it would need shorter shocks.

Please give me your thoughts! TIA

you need to ask someone like johnjzjz or raceprez - they have more knowledge of stuff like this --

You're not wrong! Thanks.
I'm hopeful they'll add their knowledge to this. I also know TwiztedBiker has chopped as many shovels as anybody else.
Fingers crossed!

I don't see a swing arm, but the two-hole blocks on the back of the frame would be for passenger pegs.

I don't get Y you think the swing are mounts have been dropped - measure from center of the thread hole on both side to the bottom of the top frame rail tubes extensions and I will compare it for you

the threads look a little damaged but I don't have it in the shop - do you have the swing arm cross bolt -- they come in self tapping oversize threads in 2 sizes larger - we have welded the hole and drilled and tap it - but you need a frame jig to do it correctly

the thread is on the correct side - that allows the swing arm removal with out pulling the inner primary

Swing arm mounts are fine on the black frame, they didn't add the blocks are you talking about till later years. As John says the pivot bolt threads look a little roached but I've helicoiled a few over the years with no issues, having a bare frame for that repair helps loads.

Frame looks fine to me
but I’m on phone
the passenger peg blocks were added sometime after 1974or 5
swangarm modifications were abundant
i don’t see it here

BTW
a square swingarm flipped only moves the shock mounts. While loosing the guard mount, and the brake stay.. Flipping a round swingarm?? Never seen it I’ll have to look... later

Thanks for the photos, Eric. I thought you would have something good for reference. Here as a few I just took. I think it's obvious the swingarm was flipped, not moco welds to my eyes.
