I've run the old round slide Mikunis on many bikes amd on my current '48 panhead and '59 XLCH. with no complaints at all They perform fantastically. I now own my first shovelhead, a '77 fxe, and am wondering if this carb will perform as well on this engine. Any experience out there regarding 38mm VM's on shovelheads?
