OMG 8 mm film...now that is showing your age lol....do you still have the camera or a player. I wouldn't know where to start to convert that....play the film on a screen/wall and record it on a digital recorder hahaha.

At least for Race, there are still recorders available that can copy VHS to DVD format.

Update: I actually could find a 8 mm reel to digital converter if you don't have your super 8 recorder.
Amazon Amazon
or this if you still have the 8 mm recorder and it is still working lol
Amazon Amazon

There is a company I believe it's called Legacy Box that advertises on the radio. You send them your old pictures, VHS or beta tapes and even 8mm film. They will digitally convert to CD or thumb drive. No idea of the cost but at least it's easy.

No go with the sideways screwdriver. I bought this 1/2" drive 3/4" wide flathead screwdriver bit but it is a bit too thick and doesn't sit securely in the slot. I am also waiting for an 11/16" wide flathead bit and will try that when it comes in. I would use heat on the screw, but the gasket on the case is too close.

Took the bike for a ride around my area at surface street speed about 10 mins and checked the temp...here is the before and after. I believe normal operating temp is around 190 with oil cooler...so perhaps I need to run it a little longer and ride a freeway speed for a bit.

Before 83 After 125

Are these temps telling....pump circulating oil properly? No change in oil level...still at top line.

I believe we have a Bike around here with one of those widgits... Never looked at it... but, I could I guess....I always suspected that they would Not be accurate anyway, and I do Not see a need to wonder about oil Temp...I guess If I found evidence of moisture in the oil, [milkyness], I would be more curious..

After half an hour, put your hand on the oil tank. If it is HOT, the oil is circulating. Honestly that simple. And if it was not circulating you would have blown it up by now. Carry on.
