Easy for you LOL.....I will be definitely painting it black to match/contrast the color scheme of my bike. If I am going to do this, might as well get it done right by a professional. I am good at spray can paint hahaha.

Exactly what is the name of the black paint used on shovels....I know harley used "vivid black" but not certain if that was for newer bikes.

btw ghost, I bought the bags...I am not selling them.

As you can see, the PO didn’t even bother to mask off the clips on the bottom of the bags. I guarantee you that you won’t regret getting the bags. It allows you to do errands and pick up smaller items. Just gives you another excuse to take the bike for a ride.

Thanks for the pics...does your mounting bracket go straight down or around the front?

Front strut goes straight down. Rear strut angles back towards the rear of the bike.

I think all the hardware is the same save the locks. Luggage style lock ‘64-69. Hook style ‘’70 and later

Thanks FL54. I guess I will need the OE mounting bracket for my year and the cross brace....found NOS for both.. Or maybe I will just use the OE support bracket that comes with the bag....I believe it's period correct

Just got pics of the spring clips inside and out. They look original and in great condition.

Actually came in handy last week Race. Got to the store and found the lid open and askew. Forgot to lock the bag. Had it not been for the clip, another lid casualty on the road.
